Surveys and Questionnaires

Economic Development and Tourism conduct surveys to find out more information as topics arise. One example of this type of outreach was when COVID-19 was impacting businesses in the summer of 2020. Approximately 300 businesses were phoned and an online survey conducted.  Input helped direct resources to support local businesses.

Business Visits

When working with businesses, staff may visit a business to gain a better understanding of the unique opportunities and challenges, and to connect with owners and managers to determine the best way Economic Development and Tourism can help.
