Holiday Shop Local Campaign
We are making plans to launch our 2021 Holiday Wish Book campaign and are looking for businesses to participate.
The 2021 Wish Book Campaign features Haldimand’s handmade, artisan & craftsman-made products, local retail products, service-oriented gift certificates, as well as things to do for the holiday season. To be included in our promotional campaign we need your content (photos, products, services, experiences, events) to build our advertising campaigns. (see button below to register).
There is no cost to participate and we are looking to feature as many locally made products as possible as well as those services offering gift certificates and non-chain retailers. We also want to feature your events and experiences.
Your business or home-business MUST be located in Haldimand County and must be independently owned (no chain stores).
Content will be included on our website in a shopping directory and in social media ads.
We will again create a printed guide that will be mailed to every household in Haldimand County.
Submissions will be vetted to ensure they are in-line with our campaign goals.
Our marketing agency will select the best mix of products with appealing photo’s for use in the printed guide (not all submissions will be included in the printed guide). The printed guide will direct people on-line where all qualified submissions will be located.
One product listing per business.
We will allow an additional listing in the event or experience section if you qualify (visit last year’s submission to see the kind of activities we will feature in this section).
Include one or two products in your descriptions (we will feature one of them). Photos submitted should reflect the product or products listed.
Include ideas such as:
- Artisan made
- Artists and galleries
- Gift ideas
- Stocking Stuffers
- Gifts for Pets
- Baking & Festive menus
- Gift experiences (gift certificates for experiences now or next year)
- Vacation packages
- Safe events
