Bulk water account applications are available at the Haldimand County Administration Building located at 53 Thorburn Street South, Cayuga. Please call Haldimand County Customer Service at 905-318-5932 for more information. Applicants will be required to provide their Driver’s Licence information and pay an activation fee.

3. Mail a cheque (made payable to HALDIMAND COUNTY) addressed to the Planning & Development Division, or leave it in the Dropbox off of Chippewa Street (HCAB).

You can pay your property taxes:

1. 1. 1. Through your financial institution – in-person, at the ATM, via phone banking, or online banking by adding ‘Haldimand County Taxes’ as a payee.
      2. Online using Visa or MasterCard (a non-refundable fee of 1.75% will be charged by Paymentus)
      3. By setting up a Pre-Authorized Payment Plan (PAP).

   *We do not accept electronic funds transfers.

Burn permits are required for all open air, non-recreational fires. In order to receive a burn permit, specific requirements must be met (consult the Open-Air Burn Bylaw for full details).

Burn permits are only issued during the calendar year for which they are valid. Permits are issued for the duration of the calendar year (e.g. 2021) regardless of the date the application is submitted.

To obtain your permit, use the online application form. Once your application is approved, you will be e-mailed a copy of your permit.

NOTE: Complaints and fire responses to addresses conducting open air burning without a proper permit will be found in contravention of Haldimand County By-Law 1662-16 and may be subject to enforcement including fines and cost recovery for services.

• There are no impacts to garbage & recycling curbside collection and the service is continuing as usual.

• The Canborough Waste Management Facility remains open to the public, however, only credit and debit card payments will be accepted until further notice.
• The Re-Use program bin will be temporarily unavailable during the province-wide stay at home order.

You can pay your parking ticket:

1. Online within 30 days of the ticket being issued. The relevant online form must be filled out for the payment to be credited to the ticket.
2. By mail, using an envelope with sufficient postage affixed, with a cheque or money order made payable to HALDIMAND COUNTY in the appropriate amount to: Haldimand County By-law Division

Ensure that you include your ticket in the envelope along with your payment.

3. In person at the customer service desk or by depositing an envelope with your ticket and payment (cheque or money order) to the Haldimand County Administration Building building’s secure drop box (off of Chippewa St.) Ensure your envelope is addressed to Haldimand County By-Law Division.

• Provincial Offences Act tickets and Notices of Fine/Due Dates may be paid online using Visa or Mastercard at paytickets.ca.
• POA fines and Notices of Intention to Appear can be mailed to the Haldimand County Administration Building (53 Thorburn St. S) addressed to the attention of Provincial Offences Act staff, or deposited in the administration building’s secure Drop Box off of Chippewa St.
